Our memories make us human — don't let them fade away.

download & install

Memory Journal is a new independent app, so your computer will show a one-time warning the first time you open it. Here's how to get past it — you'll only do this once.

On a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Memory Journal into your Applications folder.
  2. The first time you open it, macOS says it can't verify the app.
  3. On macOS 15 (Sequoia) or newer: try to open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway."
  4. On macOS 14 or older: right-click the app and choose Open, then Open again.

On Windows

  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer (it installs just for you — no admin needed).
  2. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC," click "More info" then "Run anyway."
  3. The warning appears because the app is new; it fades as more people install it.
